We are currently interviewing now for an experienced and committed Registered Manager to lead a well-established 2-bed EBD children’s home.
This service offers a very nurturing, family-style environment and benefits from a strong Deputy Manager in post, allowing the Registered Manager to focus on quality, leadership, and positive outcomes for young people.

The Role
- Overall responsibility for the safe, effective, and compliant running of the home
- Create and maintain a warm, nurturing, and therapeutic environment
- Lead, mentor, and develop a stable and committed staff team
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding, care planning, and daily practice
- Maintain full compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards
- Build strong relationships with placing authorities, professionals, and families
- Oversee rotas, staffing levels, and operational performance
- Drive positive outcomes and stability for young people with EBD
- Strong Deputy Manager in place
- On-call duties shared between the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager
- Supportive senior leadership and operational backing
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management – Residential Childcare (essential)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Proven experience managing or running a children’s residential home (EBD preferred)
- Confident knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and safeguarding
- Calm, resilient, and nurturing leadership style
- Strong organisational, leadership, and people-management skills
- Salary up to £50,000, depending on experience
