We are recruiting an experienced Home Manager to lead an established residential care home in Bangor, Northern Ireland. This is a senior leadership role combining clinical oversight, commercial acumen, and people management, reporting directly to the Regional Manager. The successful candidate will be a natural leader with the drive to deliver outstanding care while growing occupancy and maintaining excellent RQIA compliance.

We are recruiting an experienced Home Manager to lead an established residential care home in Bangor, Northern Ireland. This is a senior leadership role combining clinical oversight, commercial acumen, and people management, reporting directly to the Regional Manager. The successful candidate will be a natural leader with the drive to deliver outstanding care while growing occupancy and maintaining excellent RQIA compliance.
The Role
- Take overall responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day management of the home
- Drive occupancy growth, fee rate development, and financial performance
- Lead, recruit, and develop a motivated and high-performing team
- Ensure full compliance with RQIA regulations, health and safety, and care standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
- Represent the home as Registered Manager within the local community
- Oversee care quality, safeguarding, and continuous improvement
- Contribute to business planning and strategic development alongside the Regional Manager
- Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN) with valid NMC PIN — essential
- Proven experience as a Home Manager or senior care leader
- Strong knowledge of RQIA regulatory requirements and National Minimum Standards
- Commercially minded with experience managing budgets and driving occupancy
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Evidence of up-to-date CPD
- Registered Manager's Award (desirable)
