About the Role:
As a Band 5 Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse, you will play a key role in providing outstanding care for patients undergoing orthopaedic procedures. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring a high standard of care throughout the perioperative journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in orthopaedic surgeries, ensuring sterile techniques and patient safety.
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment for various procedures.
- Work closely with surgeons and anaesthetists to deliver excellent patient care.
- Ensure the operating theatre environment adheres to infection control standards.
- Provide support and guidance to junior staff when required.
- Qualifications: Registered Nurse (NMC) with experience in orthopaedic scrub nursing.
- Experience: Previous scrub nurse experience in orthopaedics or surgical settings.
- Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.

- Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum, based on experience.
