Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a permanent. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high standards of care in accordance with the care plan and individual needs of residents.
- Administering medication and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Monitoring and assessing residents' health conditions, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel.
- Providing support and guidance to healthcare assistants and other team members during the night shift.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of nursing care provided.
- Ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Responding to emergencies in a calm and efficient manner.
- Communicating effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC pin number.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Strong clinical skills and a thorough understanding of nursing principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
