Registered Manager – Nursing Home
Location: Sidcup, Kent
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for a rewarding role in a well-established, family-run nursing home? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate leader to join our small but proud team in Sidcup.

Our 20-bedded nursing home has been a valued part of the local community for many years. We have earned a ‘Good’ rating across all areas from the CQC, and we are proud to operate with no agency staff, ensuring continuity of care and a close-knit working environment.

Due to the size of the home, the salary for this role is £45,000 per annum — a reflection of the scale rather than the importance of the role. We believe in quality over quantity and are looking for someone who shares that value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strong and effective leadership to the care and nursing teams
  • Ensure the highest standards of care and regulatory compliance in line with CQC requirements
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the home, including staffing, rotas, budgets, and occupancy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders
  • Promote a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for both residents and staff
  • Oversee training and development to maintain a high-quality workforce

Key Skills & Experience:
  • Registered Manager experience in a care or nursing home setting (essential)
  • NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent understanding of CQC standards and compliance
  • Ability to manage budgets and ensure financial sustainability
  • A compassionate, resident-focused approach

This is a rare opportunity to lead a home where you can truly make a difference, supported by a loyal and consistent team in a community that values your contribution.

If you are a committed, values-driven leader ready to take the next step in a smaller, high-quality environment — we would love to hear from you.

To apply, please send your CV and a cover letter explaining your suitability for the role.
