REGISTERED VETERINARY NURSE (RVN)
Location: Chichester

Your Role as an RVN
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you'll play a vital part in both first opinion and referral care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with surgical and medical procedures
• Providing inpatient care and monitoring
• Supporting advanced diagnostic imaging and rehabilitation
• Conducting nurse consults and client education
• Collaborating with veterinary surgeons and fellow nurses to deliver tailored care
• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring clinical standards are met

This is a varied and rewarding role offering exposure to a broad and interesting caseload. You’ll have the chance to develop expertise in areas of special interest and work closely with dedicated referral and emergency teams.

Working Hours & Rota

• 4-day week (40 hours), 10-hour shifts: 7.30am–6.30pm, 8.00am–7.00pm, or 8.30am–7.30pm
• 1-hour uninterrupted lunch break
• Equal rota share for daytime inpatient care and emergency assistance over weekends and bank holidays
• 2 days off in lieu for weekends worked
• No out-of-hours responsibilities except rare backup support for the dedicated emergency team

About You

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with a full driving licence
• A team player who demonstrates humility, empathy, respect, and strong communication skills
• Committed to delivering high-quality patient care and continuous professional development

Salary & Benefits

• Competitive salary: £26,000 to £33,000 per annum, based on experience
• 7 weeks’ holiday, including bank holidays
