About the Role š¼ Following a restructure within our Day Services, we are delighted to introduce a brand-new opportunity for a Day Service Manager to lead and develop a service supporting adults with learning disabilities.
This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, leading staff teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred support and ensuring positive outcomes for the people who use the service.

Key Responsibilities ā
- Lead, motivate, and develop staff teams to deliver a high-quality day service
- Ensure people we support receive personalised, outcome-focused care and support
- Support recruitment, induction, supervision, and appraisal of staff
- Oversee staff rotas and deployment to ensure safe and effective staffing
- Maintain accurate care plans, risk assessments, and service user records
- Promote safeguarding, dignity, and respect at all times
- Monitor service performance and work towards meeting agreed KPIs
- Liaise with families, professionals, and external agencies as required
- Support a positive team culture, encouraging learning, development, and engagement
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- A caring, professional, and values-driven approach
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Willingness to undertake a DBS check
- Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
- Experience in a supervisory or management role

- Monday to Friday working pattern
