Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home Location: Dudley
Salary: up to £50,000 per annum strong bonus package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to open and lead a brand-new 2-bed EBD children’s home. The home will open once the right Registered Manager is appointed, giving you the chance to shape the service from the ground up with full organisational support.
The Organisation This is a well-established and growing children’s residential provider, currently operating 10 homes, with consistent growth of 2–3 new homes per year over the last five years. They are known for investing in their managers, offering strong central support, and retaining leadership long-term.
Managers are trusted to be managers, focusing on running the home effectively, leading teams, and achieving excellent outcomes for children, while central services take care of additional functions.

The Role As Registered Manager, you will:
  • Open and register a new 2-bed EBD home
  • Provide strong, consistent leadership to the staff team
  • Ensure the home operates in line with regulatory and safeguarding requirements
  • Deliver high-quality care and positive outcomes for young people
  • Maintain high standards across staffing, compliance, and care planning
  • Prepare the home for Ofsted inspection and continuous improvement
You will be supported by:
  • Exceptional staffing support
  • A dedicated clinical team
  • Regional management and central support services
Salary & Benefits
  • Up to £50,000 per annum (DOE)
  • Ofsted Outstanding bonus: £2,500
  • Occupancy bonus: £500 per quarter
  • Loyalty bonus: £1,000 per year
  • Homes historically operating at 95% occupancy
Requirements
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Residential Childcare (or currently undertaking)
  • Strong experience in children’s residential care
  • Previous Registered Manager experience preferred
  • Experienced Deputy Managers ready to step up will be considered if they have substantial experience
  • Confident, child-focused, and able to lead a home independently
