The Role:
As Registered Manager, you’ll oversee the daily running of the home, ensuring it provides a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where young people can thrive. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a warm, supportive children’s home in line with Ofsted and regulatory standards.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to your care team.
- Promote safeguarding, welfare, and positive outcomes for all young people.
- Oversee budgets, resources, and day-to-day operations.
- Build constructive relationships with families, professionals, and local authorities.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home’s Statement of Purpose is fulfilled.
- Proven experience in children’s residential care management.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and Children’s Homes Regulations.
- QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce (essential).
- QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to complete).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Salary up to £60,000 per annum.
