🌟 What You’ll Be Doing:
As an RVN, you’ll play a vital role in our team. Responsibilities include:
- Providing hands-on nursing care for medical and surgical cases
- Assisting with anaesthesia, radiography, endoscopy, hydrotherapy, and laser therapy
- Monitoring in-patient care and liaising with vets and owners
- Involvement in emergency and critical care, including out-of-hours
- Supporting student nurses and contributing to a learning-focused environment
- Independence: We’re not a corporate practice. Your voice and ideas matter.
- Facilities: Eight consult rooms (including a bereavement room), two theatres, dental suite, digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, hydrotherapy, and Class IV laser therapy.
- Variety: We treat a broad caseload – no two days are the same!
- Continuity of Care: We proudly provide our own out-of-hours emergency work for our patients and several local practices – meaning better patient outcomes and greater case involvement for you.
- Flexibility: Full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time roles available. We support 4-day weeks, flexible shifts, and weekend-only opportunities.
- Wellbeing Focus: Bright, airy, purpose-built premises. A happy team is a thriving team.
- Full-time: 40 hours/week across 8-hour shifts (7.30am–10pm)
- Weekend rota: 1 in 8 weekends (Sat 12–8pm & Sun 8am–8pm) with two lieu days the following week and 10 hours extra pay for Sundays
- Weekend-only roles also available – ideal for those seeking weekend work/life balance!
- Qualified and RCVS-registered RVNs (new graduates welcome!)
