🐾 Weekend Veterinary Surgeon – Independent, Prestigious Veterinary Practice - Cardiff - Up to £60,000! 🐾

Location: Penarth, Cardiff
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
Schedule: 1 in 3–4 Saturdays and Sundays, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Salary: Up to £60,000 per year (pro-rata, DOE)

We’re excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join the weekend team at an independent and well-equipped small animal practice in Cardiff.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough clinical examinations and diagnose a variety of conditions
  • Perform surgical procedures and medical treatments to a high clinical standard
  • Manage sole charge cases confidently, with full nurse support
  • Develop clear treatment plans and communicate them compassionately to pet owners
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date patient records
  • Stay current with best practices through regular CPD

What You’ll Need:
  • MRCVS status with the right to practice in the UK
  • At least 2 years of UK veterinary experience
  • Strong clinical and surgical skills
  • Confident working sole charge
  • Excellent communication and client-care skills
  • Passion for providing outstanding care to animals and their owners
