About Us We are a purpose-built, 50-bedded mental health hospital located in Preston, providing an extensive range of services across four specialist wards. Our services support adult males and females with acute mental health needs and eating disorders. We are proud to be a trusted provider of expert care, specialising in the management and treatment of complex conditions.
The Role We are looking for passionate and professional Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to join our team — ideally for night shifts, although day shifts are also available.
As an RMN, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care and supporting patients through their recovery journey within a safe, therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective, person-centred nursing care to patients with mental health conditions and eating disorders
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and contribute to care planning and review processes
- Administer medication and monitor patient responses in line with clinical guidelines
- Build therapeutic relationships with patients and their families
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold NMC standards
- Support a positive and collaborative team culture across all wards
- Respond appropriately to challenging situations and incidents
Skills & Experience Required
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team
- Compassionate and resilient with a patient-focused approach
- Previous experience in mental health or eating disorder services is desirable but not essential
